It's a bit like the TV series Angel (Buffy spinoff). Good fun. Also reading Cujo by Stephen King. Giant St Bernard gets rabies and the chaos that follows. Halfway through and it's been excellent and really ramps up the tension. Quietly been working my way through CJ Box's Joe Pickett series. Love them!

I’ve also got lined up The Collaborators by Ian Buruma. Edit: been recommended the Frey and McGray series by Oscar de Muriel so will start the first one of those when it becomes available through the library app. [Post edited 2 Jul 2024 13:03]

Currently on holiday. I have read Phil Tufnell,s autobiography; very amusing. The latest Richard Osman; not as good as the previous ones, and apparently the last of that series which is a wise move. Finally I read Jilly Cooper’s Tackle, really trashy and highly improbable.

But really enjoyed the netflix adaptation. So decided to read the second book and i find find it hard to remember the characters names, what the hell is going on and then it seems to go off on a tangent with no obvious reason why im now reading about some relationship breakdown.

I have a copy but have not read it. The serious SF commenteriat have broadly reached the view that its not very good and is a bit of an Emporer's new clothers type media / popularity storm.
