Nope, but then I suppose they’re getting £30 mill for KDH so will just use that, but still.

The money for wedding venue is pure profit as well so helps to boost their books in the short term. They do still have a lot of Prem level talent on their books which is handy for both raising quick funds and for attracting players. They've got a lot of uncertainty hanging over them though and feel like a club stagnating or going backwards, whereas we're one of the most exciting projects going at the minute. Would be delighted if we can pull this one off.

From a purely FFP perspective, them paying 25m when under investigation is no different to us signing a 20m player when 2 seasons ago we were in league one. Leicester get the same 100m for promotion that we do. What they did in previous seasons will be dealt with in due course. But this is a new season with a new FFP window. They aren't going to avoid making transfers because of punishments from 2 seasons ago.

But surely their loses are close to the 105m mark in any case.

The allowable losses are averaged over a three-year period so what has happened in the past two seasons remains relevant despite the new accounting period now opening. When they were relegated it was reported that a number of their highest earners didn't have relegation clauses in their contracts so it will be interesting to see what their losses were for last year when the accounts are eventually released. They are likely to have less wriggle room than many clubs.

Altho he looks really good. He's had a cracking season. But it is just that. The one cracking season. Remember priskin lol. According to Greek sources his form in previous 3 seasons wasn't that great.

Basically, my point is that we ourselves made an 18.2m loss 2 seasons ago which will also be taken into account in the latest FFP accounts, which makes expensive signings risky for us too. But yes you are very much correct that unlike us, Leicester are going to have to do a lot more book balancing to pass this time round.

Not all the loss is taken into account. Leicester’s biggest problem , for the account period just ended, is that the permitted loss drops by £22m as a Premier League season has been discarded and replaced by a Championship one.

Most seem to agree that they will. Forest - the fact that they spent £35m on Anderson possibly suggests not.

But they only sold KDH to stop a possible breach last season, he wasnt sold for any other reason, but if they want to offer more ok, cause i still need convincing hes worth what were offering.

Yes, they will definitely get a deduction. They breached in their relegation season but didn't get punished last season due to being in the EFL, the Premier League tried but Leicester argued that the Premier League can't enforce their rules on an EFL team and there was no ruling in place for the EFL to punish them for breaking PL rules. The more pertinent question is how many points they will get taken off them. I'm not confident it will be enough to affect their season too much.
