Just saw the Instagram video predicting the score for this evening and Brandon Williams was there but I haven't heard anything about us signing him. Is he just here for fitness or is he joining?
Edit: obviously need to get my glasses on. It was Ryan carr, thanks matt_netherlands

I think we have a youth player that looks very similar, I'm pretty sure I remember someone else making the same mistake towards the end of last season.
Edit - Thanks Matt_Netherlands

I could have sworn it was Graham Harbey, and then I saw him trap a football and make a five yard pass.
I know we've discussed Brandon a dozen times or more here already. Given he's still a free agent, I think a great way forward would be to offer him to train with Town, get him on a peanuts contract with no promise of 1st team football until he's demonstrated he can keep his issues behind him. Maybe just register him for cup games initially, if that's possible.
Of course no idea if he'd be interested or not, depends on where he thinks his career goes from here and if any club wants to take a punt.

We don't know where his head is at currently though, he might still not be in a good place.

I know the player in question isnt BW. But could be an excellent move to take this young lad on and give him a chance. He's certainly got the potential to be decent if he can keep his head straight. Low risk to take him on as he's a free agent. If it doesnt work out, we let him go. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Why do people on here talk about Graham Harbey and how bad he was, bearing in mind he left Ipswich 35 years ago, which I would suggest means that the vast majority of people on here never saw him play, yet he gets yet another mention on a thread that has no relevance to him whatsoever? I saw him play many times and he wasn't a world beater by any means but I've seen much much worse!

It's a fair point. It's a bit of a meme I think. I can't really remember him that well either, so it's not really fair that I make him the butt of my jokes - I would have no problem if he chose to make me the butt of his!

I wouldn't be against it either but only on very favourable terms. I.e. championship wages with add ons at appearance thresholds reached e.g 15- 25-35 etc.

He probably does. I know that Jay Tabb often has a chuckle about NthQldITFC too.
