I know he's 28 but we can't sign EVERYONE with a view to selling for a profit. We need to use some of our kitty to sign players that can improve us immediately. I think Szmodics would make a really good rival for Broadhead as that narrow left 10. | | | |

Each to their own, but not for me. Had an amazing season, but it’s a one off if looking at the rest of his career to-date. Happy to give everybody a chance, but I think we can and should be aiming higher than Szmodics. | | | |

Depends how Szmodics acts I guess. If he kicks up a stink we are hugely in the driving seat. He's 28 and this is possibly his last crack at getting a PL move. He's not even at a club that will be challenging in the Championship next year, Blackburn will be in a proper scrap again. He isn't going to want to hang about there. But neither of you have any insight into what McKenna is thinking. Moves and links can also be pushed as a result of the recruitment team and agents. So people are perfectly valid to be questioning moves if they don't think they are the right ones, it's not necessarily questioning McKenna. | | | |
