Not so sure about Davis.
But, having seen the payment terms they've mugged norwich off with, I doubt they'd get a deal done with us or Blackburn. | |

Trouble is, he’s only got a year left on his deal which hampers us in negotiations, especially if he was tempted by the move (not saying that he is). If he was receptive to it, Town have a decision to make whether they hold out for silly money, or potentially letting him go for nothing in 12 months time.
Hopefully a new 3 year deal in the next few weeks will be signed. | |

Possibly one of those agreements we won't stand in his way if he signs so we can get more value from his sale. Seems well grounded and will recognise what KMc and Ipswich have done to help his career and happy to help back. | | | |

The butthurt is funny but they'd still both choose us Sitters, sleep easy on that. Playing in the best league in the world is the dream these boys want to tick off. Sammie's in last chance saloon territory. Leif has time on his side and a sub appearance to his name sure, but you never know what the future holds and he's weeks away from starting LB; he won't be interested in a sabbatical.
CL sounds sexy but it's the consolation prize when you go in as cannon fodder, compared to PL and its riches. Now if an Inter or Napoli came sniffing we would be in trouble, but that won't happen this summer. Then there's Istanbul - great city but very different to Colchester, too much change for two lads who want to kick on with their football. Also their mental fans are becoming too mental atm, it's likely become a slight negative for professional athletes who want to be adored safely.
Lastly, Gala don't have a lot of money for transfer fees (or at least they don't normally). I reckon they'd be looking for under £15M for Leif and under £10M for Sammie. | | | |
