To be honest it doesn't feel that there's really been a gap since they split up. Both Noel & Liam have put out a lot of albums since. And they're always still playing Wonderwall, Anger, RnR Star. Good luck to them if they want some easy big money. |  | | |

Two different bands who the press tried to recreate a Beatles Vs Stones type rivalry.
Blur were the more inventive and adventurous of the two and Oasis were limited as musicians, so stuck to one style. But it was a style that worked and in Noel they had a first class songwriter who was more prolific than the boys in Blur. |  |

Think Noel should stick to his guns and steer away from it. Doesnt need it, doesnt add anything.
Saw them at Maine Road, felt an amazing moment at a bit of a peak, dont think it would be any comparison. Especially as Liam appears to have spent the last 2 years or so essentially reliving the exact same material on his own anyway, its all a bit too much tribute act now.
If they reformed, started producing new material and playing that too (and its any good) then it starts to feel a bit more relevant. Saw the Roses at Finsbury Park and although there were great moments because they are great songs, the whole thing felt like what it was, because there was nothing new. | | | |
