As someone who lives fairly nearby and is just short of 15 points, seeing so many empty seats is so disappointing.
Must be a good 100+ empty seats and it’s clear as day why.
I hope the club can get a read out of who didn’t have their tickets scanned, and deduct the point accordingly.

Have thought about this a bit more- most of the empty seats were the ones in the corners. Those were the worst seats and almost certainly would have been the last ones to sell out.
Which means two things-
1.) They would have been bought by those with a lower number of points, rather than those looking to protect their higher status
2.) The tickets would have only been bought with a couple of days notice and would have meant they needed to be collected at the stadium. That might potentially have made it complicated for people.
Do think your point is right though and there were odd seats behind the goal all over the place that were empty. |
or did the people who had no intention of going, even on higher points, buy side tickets so that fans that did go could have the better seats and not to have loads of large gaps in good areas? (although i sat in right behind the goal and could still see a couple dozen empty seats all around me) | | | |

Not a single chance anyone buying a ticket with no plan to attend remotely considers getting a side seat so those going have a better view. | |

15 points was not that difficult to achieve. 5 points for a membership last season attend 5 away games 5 points for a membership this season job done |
Correct. There will be a tiny % of people who had reasons which made it particularly difficult last year to attend say 5 games - have sympathy with those. Anybody else I don’t see an issue. It’ll soon become easier if we establish ourselves at this level with people less bothered about seeing us lose 5-0 at Man City for the 4th year in a row etc. | | | |
