Kalvin on Town TV. 04:52 - Sep 4 with 4462 views | Mercian | That's the first time I have seen him interviewed. Such a soft spoken and polite lad. He reminds me of N'golo Kante in that his on pitch aggression betrays his off pitch demeanor.

Kalvin on Town TV. on 08:43 - Sep 4 with 4049 views | _clive_baker_ | His instagram post was nice. Thanking the fans for the support and atmosphere created for his league debut against Fulham. He seems a good lad, right sort of character you want in the squad and hopefully one who can find some form as he clearly has enough ability to be playing in an upper premier league side. I liked the replies to his post too, loads of our lads interacting alongside Grealish & Haaland etc. Clearly well liked among his peers.

On Town TV. You have to join but it's free. He talks about how he is good friends with Leif who helped persuade him to join. There is also an interview with Cajuste who's English is perfect and comes across as intelligent. https://www.itfc.co.uk/live/ [Post edited 4 Sep 2024 8:53]

Hmmm, I can't seem to find it! I'm a subscriber to TTV and I've had a look and I can't see it. It's annoying me now - can you tell us which section it's in? Thanks!

It's not passed me by that pretty much every player that has played for us over the past three seasons has been brought up in an English-speaking environment. Even those who have overseas nationalities were mostly either born or brought up in the UK. Cajuste has an American dad so I expect English would have been spoke in the household. Even Muric has lived in the UK for nearly a decade. I wonder how deliberate this is from McKenna, noting the importance of effective communication both on and off the pitch?

Cheers - I've found out why I couldn't see it. I was using the Town TV app and it's not on that. Perhaps it's just me but there seems to be a difference in content offered between accessing TTV through a browser and the actual app. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Cajuste is also Swedish and the vast majority of Swedes speak perfect English having worked out there. They speak better English then a lot of people born and raised in this country (...avoids a rant about the irony of the Tommy Robinson brigade). [Post edited 4 Sep 2024 14:50]

Sam is more direct and to the point in interviews. I like that.
Kalvin on Town TV. on 06:10 - Sep 5 with 2143 views | Kropotkin123 | I was listening to the Blue Monday Fulham recap today. Interesting hearing Joe's (?) take on him getting the crowd going when he went off and how that compared to what he looked like at West Ham. I didn't have that context so it was interesting and gives me confidence he can regain some of the form he had Pre-City. It made me think of this interview where he was talking about his friends playing a part in his decision.

It would be great to see him play for England again when he is with us. I think Kieron Dyer did not get capped until he was at Newcastle.Does that make Richard Wright the last? [Post edited 5 Sep 2024 9:14]

There was a footballing aspect to how KM will be pushing Kavlin to be the best he can be. First half was a very recent Phillips, safe, ankle biter defensive midfielder, no real drive to do anything other than be a safe midfielder. 2nd half, the real Philips started to come through, defence splitting through balls ( one which lead to freekick just outside pen area when he had tried to through Ogdene) He was driving forwards, spraying passes forwards. If we can get that Phillips every game it will get him back in the England set up and will also get us going with goals.
