ITFCs next England cap? 16:16 - Sep 11 with 1757 views | deano85 | Just thinking out loud, but do we think it's possible this season? If so, who? Could Delap or Hutchinson make the step up, especially with the new England coach... Could Philips force his way back? Could Davis make a good shout? Also, if things go well in the coming weeks for us, could anyone make the next international break? I'm not saying they will play, but a call up can't be too far away for some of these lads surely?

ITFCs next England cap? on 16:24 - Sep 11 with 1663 views | FrimleyBlue | Davis can't be to far away, he'll get better with more prem games defensively, but he's already got a prem assist from left back, he's got to be given a chance this season. Hutch, think we need to see some stats before he gets in, we know what he's got, but he's got a lot of players to get in front of. Delap if he can continue to get some goals then he'll easily have a chance.

ITFCs next England cap? on 17:01 - Sep 11 with 1501 views | SheffordBlue | Lewis Hall looked really good for the England U21s at left back on Monday night and looked better defensively than Leif. I think that's one aspect of his game that he's going to have to improve on to force his way into the England set up. He's had some really tricky opponents in the start to life in the Prem and I'm sure he'll improve in this regard.

For me, Greaves is Butch Mk II. Superb player in the making, is already making his mark and will grow into a top, top left sided centre back. He may not be the first current ITFC player to actually get a cap (probably that will be Davis if he keeps progressing the way he is and Shaw keeps getting injured), but for me he will end up getting more England caps ultimately than any other current ITFC player. I just hope we can keep hold of him cos “bigger clubs” will come in for him at some point soon, eg Liverpool, Man U and Villa to name but 3 . .

He's only played in a couple of friendlies, so he's still eligible to switch. Not sure of the exact rules....

ITFCs next England cap? on 20:02 - Sep 11 with 1130 views | Vic | Before the season started I’d have said Davis could force himself into the squad this season. He still might, but thus far his defensive frailties (which we all knew existed) have been ruthlessly exposed. Shows to me that he still has a way to go before he’s international quality. That’s said, I still think he could do it if he works on a few little things. Greaves is a decent shout - but England are pretty well stocked for CB’s right now. Hutch? Would be very surprised to see him get in the squad when there’s so many ahead of him in the queue. Delap - much too early to call. I’d be delighted, but very surprised if he makes it this season. Philips? Unlikely - his place has been taken by others.
