How are we behind here? 15:20 - Sep 21 with 3142 viewsDubtractor

Such a one sided game.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Got to get one back while we're on top here, momentum from that could see us turn the scoreline over but Southampton will have surely have a spell if we don't.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

I miss Wolfie. O'Shea just doesn't have it.

Oh sorry, are you fan of him being out of position all the time?
And then literally just standing over the ball before misplacing a pass.

We already had a centre back in place who actually did alright against Liverpool. I would be pissed off.

Our passing isn’t anywhere near what it was like in the Championship. I think we miss Chaplin, I’d potentially swap him on for Szmodics at half time

Szmodics has looked a weak link in our attacking play today IMO.

If you're saying we're not as good as passing as we were in the Championship, that's ballocks!

The game is so much faster, and we've adjusted our style a little to cope. We're a faster and better team than we were last season, in a much faster and better league.

He did last week as well, it just isn't flowing through the front 3/4 like it did last year yet. Hutchinson seems to be still finding his feet as well, he's either rushing when he doesn't need to or taking too long and getting caught in possession.

I also don’t think we’ll accrue as many points as we did in the championship.

There are not so many chances in the PL, when you get one you need to take it!

Apart from when we have the ball.

I don’t disagree with the rest you’ve said but you can’t deny the players were much more familiar with each other last season and the passing was from fluid moves rather than balls over the top. I’m not slagging of the players I’m saying the passing moves we saw last season will take time to develop.

It's really not. Tactically they are outdoing us. All it is taking is a ball over the top as we are pressing too high.

I actually agree on that first half performance lots of effort but often a terrible touch. I do think wolfy is better on the ball football wise than o'Shea but may possibly lack his physicality.

The one where he stands on the ball around 30 minutes and does nothing with it for 10 seconds is just so frustrating. He is often out of position and chasing back. I've got eyes, I saw what I saw. Where was he for the goal? Greaves is always with the last man even on the right hand side.
If he does that stuff on the ball in the 80th minute, my head will explode.

He isn't up against prime Ronaldo today, it's Cameron Archer who is utter pish.

I get the boy is talented (obviously) but looking like a weak link at the back.

EDIT - 47 mins, case and point.
