Fixture Changes on 16:39 - Oct 15 by Sarge | Not really. I’m sick to death of paying for a season ticket and it being decided by some corporate prick which games I’m actually allowed to go to. God forbid football fans have anything else in their lives going on. Chuck in the fact we hardly ever actually seem to play a game and this premier league nonsense leaves a lot to be desired. |
Big blub. It’s not a new thing. Would’ve been worse in the EFL this season IMO.

EFL would have been an absolute nightmare this season. That new TV deal is killing it for the supporter who goes to games

Championship is no better this season unfortunately. Either have to suck it up or jack it in as many have done and follow a non league team.

The Bournemouth, Arsenal & Chelsea games are moved due to Amazon Prime, nothing to do with Sky.

Fixture Changes on 16:22 - Oct 15 by Illinoisblue | Oh FFS guess I’ll be missing the Bournemouth game then. Fking TV c***s. Nobody wants to watch us v Bournemouth on a Sunday. Nobody. |
Don't want to watch Bournemouth on a Saturday let alone a Sunday. All rubbish now if one thing made me give up my season ticket it would be this .

Fixture Changes on 16:38 - Oct 15 by SitfcB | Amazon stagger the kick off times. Surely 15 mins earlier is better for young kids? |
8 would be easier. 7:45 I get home from work at 6:15 eat, spend some time with the kids/help with bedtime etc then out the door for 6.55, even then it’s tight.
Fixture Changes on 17:50 - Oct 15 with 941 views | DarkHorse | Outrageous! Do you know what I'd do if I had a season ticket? I'd throw it away in protest. Particularly if I sat in SBR upper, fairly centrally*. That'll teach them. Let some other mug go while you sit smugly at home listening to the games on the wireless. *PM me if that's the case, cheers.

You could argue it still is :) due to the way the rights packages evolved and who gets first pick on which games and how much negotiation there is between. We end up with our Bournemouth game shifted because Amazon picked them for a Thursday game, they're playing Thursday because Sky picked Spurs v Chelsea and Fulham v Arsenal as some super duper London derby Sunday. It can't be coincidence Fulham & Spurs both play Thursday as well, whilst Arsenal are the main game on the Wednesday. Or that TNT pick the Merseyside derby for Saturday, which means Liverpool & Everton must play their games on the Wednesday at the latest. See what I mean ? Sky pick a big fixture and the ripple effects of the other fixtures to meet all the broadcast deals than have to align with it.

They're not allowed to show games in a regular 3pm slot that everyone is aware of, and can plan for, in case that reduces crowds. But they can move a game to a different day in the middle of the night at 2 months' notice to suit their schedules. I really really don't understand this.
Fixture Changes on 10:22 - Oct 16 with 564 views | peterleeblue | Not sure why this is such a surprise. We have know of this for years. Premiership matches are high profile global events. As a non ST holder struggling to now see matches I am quite happy if any disenfranchsied want to offer me their ST for any "inconvenient" matches!!
