I get that.
One of the problems the left have is that youngsters (obviously including students) generally start out on the left. The entertainment business (comedians, actors etc) are also, pretty much always on the left.
Sometimes they bring the left down a bit, usually because neither of those two sets have ever had to work for a living. |
As someone married to a part time musician friends with and in causal acquaintance with a fair few 'arty' types of all sorts of persuasions. A lot of 'showbiz' at the sharp end, appears to be pretty hard graft, just not in the way you(or me, to be fair) might think it is.
I couldn't live how some of them do. I'm guaranteed 150 hours a moth(plus extras, if I can get it and want it) for a set amount of cash. A lot of 'jobbing' musicians, comics and actors aren't. |  |
