Honestly I'm not too down on not winning a game we all knew this was going to be a massive step up.
I am more concerned that the performance levels have dropped significantly since Villa. Players making silly mistakes, not doing the simple things well and losing the midfield battle.
On the positive side, I thought Chappers and Harry made a big difference as well as moving Omari out right. Straight away you could see how quick Clarke would spread the ball out to Hutch.
Said in a halftime thread, whenever we got the ball out to the right we just kept recycling it across the back line.
Is it confidence or as I heard during the commentary we've used 26 players this season so the gelling thing is a problem.
We also don't seem to be able to press the opposition and are retreating back to the box which is increasing the pressure. |  | | |
