SPurs beat VIlla 4-1 without playing that well. I can't see anything but a similar scoreline next week (or worse). I hope i'm wrong.

Thats just pessimistic
Sport is a mind game, as the mental aspect of the game is often as important as the physical. If the players + supporters all thought like that, we may as well not bother travelling. We need to believe we can do it, and I think we can. It would require an exceptional defensive performance, but we have the players to score against them.
Villa had 3 great chances before Spurs went 2-1 up. I think we need to hit them hard, ala Brentford, try and take a 2 goal lead before they wake up from Thursday. Then defend deep 2nd half, and hit them on the break. Hirst to start again, Delap on at half-time. | |
