Timothy West on 14:11 - Nov 13 with 1042 views | gainsboroughblue | Funnily enough, when I was channel hopping the other day, Royal Jelly was on. Lovely chap. He was sat in the seat opposite me on the Winchester-Southampton train about a decade and a half ago and chatted. RIP.

First thing that came to mind re Timothy West was Tales of the Unexpected and as you say the Royal Jelly episode...was he in any another episodes of TOTU? RIP a fine actor and so supportive of his wife Pru [Post edited 13 Nov 2024 14:50]

I don't think he did but that's without me trawling through IMDB. I remember him from 'Brass' more than anything but he truly was a giant of British TV.

Timothy West on 18:07 - Nov 13 with 844 views | cbower | Their relationship on the recent Canal boat series was beautiful to see. He could come across as a little gruff but it was clear how much he cared for her and she for him.

Timothy West on 21:06 - Nov 13 with 766 views | Ryorry | Amazing actor. Remember him as a hugely successful Falstaff on stage, and more recently as Gentleman Jack’s father on TV. R.I.P.

Anyone would be a bit gruff watching your wife of many years deteriorate and have to look after her 24/7 We only saw 30 mins but he had to do it 24/7 This isn't a dig at your post by the way. I quite like his son as an actor, he was great in Mr Selfridge.
