Absolutely beautiful 17:09 - Dec 14 with 3976 views | FrimleyBlue | Kept myself off here to keep away from emotional posting. Didn't see that winner coming but maybe they're the best ones. Missed the opening half due to Internet issues but watched the whole of the 2nd. Wasn't the best last 25.. I felt on 65 the gaps were there for us to hurt but our subs didn't make the most of those gaps it seemed. Morsy was blown but we seem stuck on having to take cajuste off which killed us a bit as he was brilliant and really direct. Taylor bravo. Still think I'd like to see him in that 10 as I dint feel it works for him being deep but he did one driving g run which was excellent. I did say before the game the right side worried me and I personally believe it was bad as I thought it would be. Clarke I dunno what he was told to do but the gaps he left were frightening and burns just doesn't have the fitness to be effective this season yet. The one pppruntky he had to put it on place for delap just needed calmly slotting along the line. Chappers bravo. Loved chappers. Same with hutch. Clarke J. Lovely corner, not quite sure what we call his role as he was everywhere. Al hamadi definitely looking fitter which is great to see. Oshea and Burgess were rocks again. Burgess has developed so much its crazy. Many times he was under the cosh but he dealt with adversity with ease. Muric. Funny buger isn't he. He will be a great keeper I think we just need to stick with him and help him out a bit behind the scenes. Not the first goal he's conceded near post. I do wish he would throw it quicker sometimes too. All in all an important win. You can see the glaring gaps in quality in our side. January is massive. We have a chance but we need a good 4/5 quality signings.. is that possible? I think for me. H Clarke at rb is a no no. Same as burns. Imo let's thank them for being part of the promotions but there are levels to this game. Morsy. Captain fantastic yes but hes human he does need subbing. When he can't control midfield we lost it a bit as we saw today. Coyb. Absolutely chuffed. Needed that win.

Absolutely beautiful on 17:18 - Dec 14 with 2741 views | Help | Well that was an emotional rollercoaster. Score and then unable to get that crucial second. Somehow wolves managed to get on top and not only scored but looked more likely to get the second. Finally after much hand wrangling we scored a late winner right on the death. We needed those 3 points so badly and that makes life that little bit sweeter tonight. Full credit to the lads to get a win from what at times really looked like was an impending defeat. Relief I feel right now

Absolutely beautiful on 17:29 - Dec 14 with 2656 views | The_Flashing_Smile | Harry and Wes were perfectly decent first half. It was only towards the end of the second that Harry got caught out of position and Wes tired (so came off). You need to see the full game if you're going to comment on specific players' performances.

Had Burns put in a decent cross to Delap, rather than hitting it too hard and slightly too high we would have been 2-0 up. Burns seems to have lost any pace he had imo. `And I saw the whole game other than the last 10 seconds as my feed went down just as Clarke was about to take the corner.

He's not first choice but he can still do a job and overall I thought he was decent today. You could pick out one move that wasn't perfect for every player if you wanted to.

And your point? It's still a no no to both. Both needed to come off on 60 minutes. That's not good enough imo. And from what I've read they didn't have amazing first halves either. So what have I said that's actually wrong flash. Do you genuinely believe that's the best right side we can put out every game in the prem.

I've literally said in my previous post that Burns isn't first choice. Nor is Harry Clarke, but they're perfectly adequate back ups. I think my point was pretty clear. You can't slate their performance when you've only seen half of it. We've won a game and here you are, knocking players, despite only watching half the game.

No, I've provided a balanced view on what I saw. You'll see other posts of mine since the game saying other things too. I didn't slate their performance overall I gave my view on them from what I saw which didn't show me anything to say they were good. If you're saying they had great first half's. Fine. But you've just agreed they aren't first choice. So you agree with my thoughts anyway. You're just arguing for the sake of it. [Post edited 14 Dec 2024 18:08]

Who are you kidding? "H Clarke at rb is a no no. Same as burns. Imo let's thank them for being part of the promotions but there are levels to this game" are not "a balanced view on what I saw", they are overall comments on the players. I didn't say they had great first halves. Stop straw-manning. I said they were decent. Saying they aren't first choice IS NOT THE SAME as as what you said - essentially not play them. "Thank them for being part of the promotions..." basically means get rid.

This is a prem flash What's the point keeping both when there are better out there for both roles. Stop arguing when you're basically agreeing.

I'm not agreeing. I'm saying they're decent back ups, you're saying get rid. In what world is that agreeing? Obviously if we can get better we should, but you could say that about any player. You're flailing around because your initial argument's been undone.

That's very harsh on the Burns cross, it needed a good weight to beat the keeper and incoming defender. It was a tad high but in the perfect location for Delap's run. Fair few goals are bundled in at the far post from a similar delivery. I agree Burns does appear to have lost a bit of pace or everyone around him have got quicker. Harry Clarke was ok and is what he is. Not a Premier level defender but apart from the missed header he was ok.

One of those where it should have been whipped in low for a tap in by Delap. But still a good enough ball which delap possibly still should score from.

There are better strikers out there than Delap. Maybe we should be looking at those. This is the prem after all.

Exactly this. It hit Delaps knee, or rather Delap hit it with his knee. Any top-level striker would have scored that. No worries.....we won anyway

No not important but was delighted with the win and shared my thoughts. You've mentioned you don't like my views so not sure why you opened the thread when you know it's mine and not sure what's said that's actually angered you so much. Play the ball. Not the poster.
