At this rate they'd be better off just forfeiting every away fixture before they played it - away from Home Park they are truly dreadful.
Watched a bit of it earlier and they look a real nothing team - no real idea of what to do and several times players wanted to pass it forwards but had nothing on so went back then berated their teammates. Can't be a happy place there - Rooney again separating 'them' from himself rather than talking about 'we'. |  |

Because he had little formal education doesn't mean he isn't bright. On the contrary, I've heard from good sources that he is actually an intelligent guy but perhaps lacks the tools to put that into practice because of being only around football from an early age.
He probably doesn't help by positioning himself as an old school manager rather than coach. He apparently doesn't spend much time on the training ground which can't endear him to the players. |  |
