it made sense to keep Ten Haag, if you were going to give him the time to do the job properly.
obviously they didnt let him, so now theyre going to spend a season or two rebuilding with Amorim.
for all the seamless success Slot has had with Liverpool, they were a pretty good team to start with, and arguably their biggest rivals are having an off season.
Amorim was never going to turn up and fix Man Utd overnight, but Im not sure any manager will be given the time there anymore, and certainly not with the Class of 92 pundits, this is the lesson McKenna needs to learn before picking that job, because its a hiding to nothing at the moment. | | | |
