We sign players we can develop and have potential for on-sale, we don't generally sign players of that age.
Mass is probably the only one?
Keogh, Luongo, Moore, Conor Townsend…
We’ve also signed players like Ladapo, Dom Ball, Travis, Phillips and Szmodics - not in their 30’s but hardly players signed with the hope of developing and selling on
In fact, to date we haven’t really sold on a single player, the only players to leave have been out of favour
I don’t really understand why people seem wedded to the idea that we only sign players to try and increase their value, when it seems clear to me that pretty much every signing is to improve the squad in the here and now, based on what is needed at the time. Happy to stick my neck out and predict that we will absolutely see an experienced PL stalwart in this type of mould arrive this month, whether it’s Matic or AN Other
Highlighting crass stupidity since sometime around 2010

You maybe right but I'd be shocked if it's Matic.
Yes, we've signed some 'experienced' players, you are correct.
KP and SS are very much in their 'prime' though.
Ade Akinbiyi couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo...
