Tony Pulis > KM 14:13 - Jan 16 with 2135 views | FrimleyBlue | "Tony Pulis: "When we got promoted at Stoke, I called Sir Alex Ferguson up. He told me: Your best chance is making the Britannia a place no-one wants to go." "If any of the top teams go there and praise you, you’re not doing it right." "I don’t think I’ve ever been at a football stadium where the crowd and team were so together – we used to play the top teams and the place used to light up." Just saw this, and was thinking, we've seen quite a fair bit of praise for KM and town prior to games, but there's been a lot of salty managers after them....... It's a sign..................................

Tony Pulis > KM on 14:24 - Jan 16 with 1901 views | patrickswell | Chelsea and Wolves weren’t just upset about losing, they were upset because they had lost to us. We have to stay up this year to try and re-establish respect for promoted teams. Can you imagine how Fulham would have reacted after the whistle had they not managed to rescue a point.
Tony Pulis > KM on 14:36 - Jan 16 with 1738 views | ClareBlue | Having been there on the 1st January 2024 they have definitely made Stoke a place nobody wants to go to.
Tony Pulis > KM on 15:36 - Jan 16 with 1389 views | Bramidan | Do you remember when everybody took the piss out of the long throw in ( Delap) Surprisingly enough now lauded, perhaps Pullis was 10years ahead of his time!

Tony Pulis > KM on 16:00 - Jan 16 with 1183 views | itfcsuth | I grew up in Stoke, born and raised, and have plenty of friends and family as Stoke season ticket holders. Let me say that place was an absolute bearpit, it was a real hostile place to go, as intimidating as you'd get in this country. The footballing approach was clearly different to that of McKenna, but the principle is correct, your home has to be a fortress, and Stoke did that better than anyone I've seen before.
Tony Pulis > KM on 16:08 - Jan 16 with 1088 views | BrianTablet | We have had a few managers make FPR somewhere no-one wants to go... sadly it was mostly home fans who didn't want to go there.
