So far I have… (and some are bars, but assumed they meant places you’d gather for a few pre game beers)

Curve bar
Black horse,
brewers arms,
the mermaid,
station hotel,
Isaac’s,
silver star,
the falcon,
bar 21,
@25,
Thomas Wolsey,
New York exchange,
revs,
battle bar,
silent street social,
arcade tavern,
the swan,
moloko,
Westgate ward social,
Mannings,
3 wise monkeys,
cricketers,
greyhound,
Lord Nelson,
spread eagle,
cock n pye,
the plough,
the Kitchener,
salutation,
mcginties,
the rep

Some that I was unsure of I googled the directions and did it as walking, and they came in as a mile, for example, the Earl Kitchener.

Anymore for anymore?

Is that little conservative club in the alley next to Sainsbury’s on brook street still going?

Bears would count presumably (or the Germans will riot).

What was that like as a pub? Especially on a match day?

Remember going passed it a lot as a kid but never got to experience it :(

Always struck me as a bit of an estate pub stuck in the town centre.

I could be wrong but my perception of it was that it didn't get the walk in, passing punters that other town pubs would. Was a very strong 'regulars' place.

Match days went through cycles of popularity I think. Always had people in due to proximity but was never a 'Falcon' or 'Degeros' type place.

Was a popular 'lads' haunt late 90s but died out.

Trains that stop at Ipswich station with a buffet car - that has to be less than a mile.
Or am I over thinking the question
