We are just too slow going forward and when there is a burst going forward there are not enough options.
How we switch off in defence cost us the game again.
I advocate putting Davis in left midfield without the left back responsibilities. Conner Townsend is a good player and should be our left back. The service to the strikers has to be better and more variety in going forward. Stick to a 4-4-2. We need a flair player who can influence the
central midfield and support our attack.

How we switch off in defence cost us the game again.

Agreed, mainly whilst attacking we are very gentlemanly and patient in allowing the opposition to regroup and ensure their defence is set. Only fair. |  | | |

We are far far too ponderous going forward. Look what Delap was able to do with a ball through the middle for him yesterday. We hardly ever play that ball, at least not when it's actually on. | |

We look like Leicester if last season - so many times they broke away only for it to end up back at the keeper. I’m am not condoning hoofing it all game but we don’t seem to have any other way of playing and become very predictable and easy to defend against. When we do get opportunities we are very wasteful and not very clinical at all. Lots to improve on as we now ironically have a team of gifted individuals who are better then their predecessors but we have lost our team togetherness. Players are playing for themselves which is apparent when not passing, shooting in ridiculous positions and trying to do to much. | | | |

Although quite clearly his the only player we have in the squad who is clearly levels above the rest of the side , he must have found it very frustrating playing with players who couldn’t play the way he plays or think as quickly as he does etc | | | |

The first one is what you get when banking on a very exciting but young forward line unfortunately. We look raw – that may improve when Chaplin and Szmodics get back, and should get better in time anyway but perhaps not quickly enough to save us. | |
