For any negative season ticket holder fans 00:14 - Feb 2 with 2408 views | skankerman | If you are any of the fanbase that I read on here that think this is the lowest point in the club’s history in the past 20 years and want to give me your seat after supporting the club through the highs and lows of the past 45 years then just message me. There are many thousands like me that would like to attend a game and support the massive improvement of the management team and players from just a few years ago. Some people have very short memories

If you were waiting for it you probably should have had a response ready, now everyone knows you’re not a proper fan but think you’re above those that do go every week

Get off your high horse Maybe many of us that have attended games don’t live in Ipswich or Suffolk or East Anglia but just support the club whether it’s winning or losing Not sure that’s a bad thing

I live in Cheltenham and have a season ticket. I don’t understand your point.

You are further away than me. We are in North Oxfordshire and have season tickets. We also go to as many away games as our points will allow us! [Post edited 2 Feb 12:01]

This is the sort of entitled elitism that needs to stop. There may be as whole host of good reasons, and lashing out at other fans is not a good look. Try some of these reasons that may have prevented some : - I was living abroad for a few years - My employment required that I work weekends - My mother entered home palliative care, and I needed to visit her every weekend - I lost my job, and couldn't commit to the cost of a season ticket until I found new employment You come across as a complete d1ck making statements like this, with no empathy, as does every elitist fan that rolls out this line. Just stop, and try to re-join humanity.

But he wants a ticket now. Not sure about that. He was trying to come over as some sort of smart a$$.

Whilst I appreciate your point, there is an argument (and not directing this at you personally but in general) that it's odd to have valid excuses for not getting a season ticket whilst Town are bobbing around mid table in League One, but suddenly complaining but those who have one but are frustrated at results when we're at the top table. Obviously, in some cases, it will just be down to how events play out. With others, however...

Maybe he was trying to come across as a smart a$$, maybe not. There is no backstory. But why this regular response from some of 'why don't you have a season ticket then'. Many will have genuine reasons, and tarring them with the same brush as new, fair-weather, tourist fans is unfair without knowing the (possible reasons). Why are people continually striking out at other fans, - it's not a good look.

That response fit here because OP was acting like he was more deserving of a ST than anyone that was there and was frustrated, it’s not a one size Fitz Hall

Maybe. Maybe not. You've assumed they fit that category. I agree that some will have genuine reasons, some will not. You can't really tell from what the OP wrote. It's only being assumed that they have only now wanted to attend games since we've been successful. So, if there is uncertainty, the reasonable reaction would just be to ignore the post rather than potentially criticise a genuine fan who has genuine reasons for not currently have a ST. Now, I know that sometimes it's easy to overreact to something someone says, because it hits a nerve - I've done it myself, and regretted it. Rather than double down on the original miss-hit though, I'd then accept that and take it back.

I know many ST holders who don't live in Suffolk or East Anglia - London, North East, South Coast etc
