Did we use goalkeeper.com again to select Palmer?

Listen to west brom fan on talking town podcast. Not sure about this signing as not good with feet, slows it down and seems to have errors in him but willing to give wait for judgement.

18 clean sheets and golden glove winner and 11 clean sheets so far this season, that will do for me .

Hladky got 15 clean sheets last season, but wasn't deemed worthy of re-signing.

Only marginally and had attributes which suit how Kieran likes to play...

That's a big difference in a season of not many games.

We’ve not had a keeper that’s good with his feet all season.

Right now we just need one to stop soft shots going in.

Yep I think in this modern day we forget what a keeper's modern job is.

I loved Hladky however if he played week in week out in the Prem I think he'd also be near the top of the unfortunate list Muric heads. A number of times last year errors weren't punished whereas they probably would be in this league.

Also at the minute I think average with the feet is fine due to the fact as a team I don't think we're quite at the level to play through a Premier League press in the say way we managed in the Championship.

Lol, nope. His January contract offer would've made him one of our worst-paid players at the club in 2024/25. Feel wanted, much?

That was part of my curiosity - I wonder if the target profile for the analytics has changed.

Ashton and his original front men were all WBA related. So no surprise we go to them when in a pickle.

On the latest signing...
'A spokesman from goalkeeper.com confirmed that Ipswich had decided against their latest recommendations and instead opted to go in search of their own man.
Dr Jack Mehoff stated that goalkeeper.com felt the perfect match for Ipswich was Gary Pierce, who hasn't played league football since 1984 with Blackpool, helping them win promotion from the old 4th division. Dr Mehoff stated 'Gary would be a perfect choice for Ipswich's goalkeeping crisis.'
Mr Pierce, 73, was unavailable for comment, his wife confirmed he was out in the shed, looking for his gloves.'
