To be fair they're bringing on ex-Real Madrid stars off the bench.

We had to wait outside the away exit for a few minutes for our mates to come out.

The Villa fans were proper peed off.

You love to see it.

Met a couple, seems that CL football have really gotten to their heads. Needed reminding that they were a Championship club not too long ago.

They were like that the season they got out of the Champ, let alone now.

Lived near Brum for a few years in the late 90s. Where I was pubs were pretty much blues or villa and they didn't get along.

Villa fans always had delusions of grandeur, claiming they were the "Man U of the midlands". Arrogant pr1cks, give me a Birmingham fan any day.

The last time I visited Villa Park we won 1-0 and I think Huws scored. I remember thinking how quiet the place was. The locals were also not the most welcoming and I got the impression that they were quite up themselves.

I would imagine that if in 5 years time we have stayed in the Premier League, gradually rising in the table to reach 4th and the Champions League and then struggle to draw 1-1 with a 10-man side in the bottom 2 that has just won a double promotion to get there we would probably think it a poor showing from our team.

I'm still in a mood that we lost to Southampton. A team two places below us in the table after we were promoted together last season.
