If they just tried to stay on their facking feet, they'd have been out of sight.

I know Konate was on a yellow but thinking the game was won and bringing on Quansah was foolish.

It was a cracking goal but had about three chances to clear before that. Andy Robertson also looks way off the player he was.

Wasn’t the case at all, just didn’t want to risk going down to 10 men, his next foul would’ve been a yellow.

Bringing on Endo now. Think Slot is trying to throw the game.

I know that but Konate could have stayed on. Quansah has been poor this season as Liverpool look far more shakey when he is on.

Cunha is some player

Unfortunately Wolves are a decent team, with Pereira in charge and Cunha up top. That's why I was slightly down on yesterday's result, despite it being a great one in isolation. I can see Wolves continuing to pick up points from here on out.

The independent panel copping out on Cunha's punishment has definitely had an impact on the season as a whole.

It is clear watching this game Wolves under Victor Pereira are a significantly better team than us. Unfortunately I can’t see us finishing ahead of them, which makes our chances of survival look increasingly bleak.

Whatever the result today I'm afraid I can't see Wolves getting relegated and I've thought that for some time.

What a block from him just now to stop a certain goal!!

Wolves look physically built for the prem. More than us.

Wolves were a significantly better team than us all season. When we played them they were going through a crisis and should have beaten us easily with the chances they created.

Wolves are only down there because they stuck with O'Neil, and he held them back until they finally cut him loose. Their performances and form since Pereira took over shows this. But I do think they're very reliant on Cunha, just as we are on Delap.

Good block but it was his man that got ahead of him. So he dug himself out of trouble.

Ditto Everton and Dyche.

Thats what you can get when you tap the overseas market.

How many of their starting XI are British players or players signed from English clubs?

IMO if we go down our biggest weakness is the lack of an overseas network.

Yet they are only two points above us; so not that ‘significantly’ better than us. From your posting history I see you had us ‘down’ in October. I don’t know if you go to games or not but maybe you shouldn’t and instead let some fans go who want to back the team go like we did yesterday against 12 men.

That was a tough watch.

Seeing Wolves lose was obviously good but I don't feel too upbeat about it. They look to have enough in their locker to get safe.

When all is said and done though, it's about us. We need to match their results and beat them.

Exactly. The new manager who has had least impact at the established sides is Potter at West Ham, yet they still have a healthy cushion. Despite their good run, Everton only caught them yesterday.

Their squad (or first XI at least) has always looked too good to be down here on paper really, particularly in attacking positions. Shame they couldn't have kept O'Neil a bit longer.

As you say though, all we can do is just keep picking up the points where we can and then it's a massive game against them to try and turn them over.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.
