That and 99% of us aren't going, because getting there and back on a Monday for those of us who work is taking the absolute p... I will also add to my protest of the pocket by staying home by also not watching it on the TV. The more of us who stop watching on TV, the better the game will be in the future. Yes this is getting a bit rediculous. There won’t be time to do the APP windows at this rate. Home ticket details went on the Forest site an hour ago so hopefully will be soon. Home…adults =£20, children=£10

Given the limited time, and the experience from Coventry sales (comfortably reaching Season Ticket level), it wouldn't surprise me to see reduced Windows for this one. Maybe 20+, 5+ then ST. We'll find out in the next day or two for sure, otherwise it'll need to go to cash-turnstiles to get close to selling out!

I would say we've declined our full allocation. I believe we can have as much as 15% of ground capacity for FA Cup, so the only way we have less is if we choose to. That or Fabio Wardley has significantly added to his entourage. Maybe he is having a birthday party at the game? Pin on the tail on the Crazee, all that jazz?

Yeah, just been confirmed by ticket office that this is all they asked for. If I can't get a ticket now, I will be massively annoyed.

It certainly could end up a preventable own goal with fan relations. Hopefully the club have got their sums right and everyone that wants a ticket will get one. You'd expect a fairly decent market research operation there. As other posters have said, I imagine a fair number of regulars will be put off by a number of factors (mon eve logistics, likely to lose, not long after visiting city ground, no point no point etc etc).

There may be an element of the ticket office's capacity to get orders processed / posted too. The windows likely to have the highest levels of sales will be those closest to the fixture (10+. 5+, Season Ticket). Looking at Coventry; sales in those windows accounted for nearly 2700 tickets. For this Forest sale, those windows are on-sale Monday/Tues, and realistically the tickets would need to be in the post by Weds. Could the ticket office process 2700 ticket orders in 1-2 days? Gate receipts are shared equally between host and visiting clubs for FA Cup matches, so there's a small advantage to maximise sales all-round (postulating that there's a higher chance of selling the 'extra allocation' to home supporters rather than away supporters where demand my be low; distance, visited recently, no APP, etc), but it'd only work out at £14k (ish) extra to each club. I don't know if there are any rules where the visiting club have to pay for tickets even if they don't sell them.

Agreed, seems sensible, a lot of unnecessary blubbing. The Club can’t help it being a Monday, and a quick look around shows that will prevent it being a huge turnout. [Post edited 19 Feb 11:43]

TV greed? It's on free TV! Not a subscription channel. How much do you think they'll be selling the adverts for then?

But once again anyone who can’t usually go to a prem game and lives in the midlands or north might not be able to go. This cup run is a big positive for a lot of supporters who can’t get to home or away prem games for whatever reason so I think the club has scored an own goal here for club relations here tbh Surely we are rich enough to cover the cost of needing to return eg 1000 tickets if we needed to

And would prevent them having any fans at that end of the ground!! Small margins and all that

I'm all for a boycott to get the message through, but I don't think a depleted away end for a cup game on a Monday night is going to worry anyone. But what would hurt them far more is if we made sure there were stacks of empty seats when one of the brand clubs came to town. It'd be nicely embarrassing for the so-called 'best league in the world' (yeah, right) if there was a near empty Portman Road for Liverpool or Man City beamed around the world at a stupid time showing that fans are fed up of being treated like cannon fodder for the big clubs. Sadly I imagine no-one will be up for that though...

897 left but they haven't put all the seats on sale yet. Block Y1 and about half of Block X2 still haven't been opened.
