No I can't say that until it's a mathematical certainty.

Right now I see it as about 80/20 against us. Should results go surprisingly well this weekend that might shift to say, 70/30. Worse case scenario I'll see it as 90/10.

It's not over until it's over folks.

Interested in one point there,

KM had rightly alot of credit in the tank, still does for many, that's a personal choice I get it

Do you not agree that the man who took us from league 1 to the prem in 2 seasons, nearing 100 points in each season, still has a lot of credit in the bank after a tough season that's not over yet, but looks like we'll come up short?

Not a dig or argument, genuinely interested whether you don't agree with that?

Personally, he's just a manager like all others and I support the club not the managers and I view what happens in the season it is happening and there's been for me at least a lot of mistakes this season and I do actually think this squad is good enough to stay up but isn't being managed correctly to do so. But that is solely my opinion and I know 100% no one else will hold that view. I don't feel the summer will he won't he stay helped the planning, I also don't think it helped with recruitment, and he didn't do anything to speed up that process.

In regards to credit, what he did last season was incredible, and i'll always remember him for that, for league 1, no he had a luxury squad for that level but still also needed millions more spent in Jan to get it over the line. Of course any promotion is special so great etc, but promotion was bare minimum with what he had in that season.

It is precisely because KM has that credit that you don't see similar scenes at PR every week like you do at St Mary's, King Power, Molineux or even London Stadium and WHL.

The King Power was a quarter full at FT last weekend with the remaining fans booing and yelling dog's abuse at the players and manager. Makes our scene at the Valley look tame in comparison.

If KM wants to go to Spurs, he'd have to get used to thousands streaming out at half-time if they are losing.

Exactly, which is why I would be surprised that Frimley doesn't share that view.

Frimley - thanks for reply. You're right that we are miles from agreement but appreciate you laying out your thoughts.

It's like there's a negativity/positivity balance on here that always has to be maintained. As soon as Frimmers gets banned or changes his ways, someone else comes in to take his place. If anything, some of these twonks are much more negative than Frimmers ever was. I wonder if it's some sort of self preservation thing - a pessimist is never disappointed.

Until it’s mathematically done and dusted there’s a slither of hope still.

But… the Southampton loss, if we are being realistic, is where we’ve ruined any hope of staying up. You can’t lose to the team bottom, at home, and think it’ll have a positive outcome there after.

If we were 15th, for example, and lost at home to Southampton that’s a different story, but in a game that was must win, in a mini league of 4, we had to win.

We’ll be good again... one day

You say there'd be more pressure on us at Old Trafford, but conversely the opposite could happen - we might actually be buoyed by a Wolves loss and up our game having been handed an unexpected lifeline.

Funny old game, football.

Sadly we havent been bouyed up on any other times when weve had a chance to build on something. I dont avtually think we can do or be anything more than we have done already. We're pretty, but not quite good enough.

Most of them weren't posting on here when we were tearing up the Championship last season. They are either the type of armchair fan who only watches the Prem and thinks we should be able to immediately compete at that level, with no understanding of the realities of football, or they are just trolls.

If that is aimed at me I was one of the Stockport lowest home crowd so I think not.
