This is such a typical exchange.
- I interpreted what I now view to be a clunkily worded statement incorrectly - nothing impolite in my message
- You responded - and made it clear I'd misinterpreted (no issue with that)
- I responded to you to accept I'd misinterpreted (hint: a normal person who doesn't need to win the internet would have left it here)
- You come back to correct me about the time
- I respond and tell you I made a mistake - and grumpily asked why you make an argument out of everything
- You respond rudely to tell me to wind my neck in.
Is there really any need for the rudeness and need to win everything? You're incapable of taking the win when you have it. It's tiresome. [Post edited 18 Mar 13:42]

You have no self awareness or you're a troll.
- There was nothing "clunkily worded" about my statement. You read it wrong and thought you had a 'gotcha' on me.
- I pointed out I hadn't said what you thought I'd said.
- You made the excuse for your error that it was late. It wasn't late, I posted it at half one in the afternoon and you replied the next morning. I merely corrected you.
- Instead of leaving it there you accused me of making everything into an argument (which I hadn't, I'd just pointed out your excuse was also wrong)... without a drop of self awareness that the argument was caused by your error, and then extended by you.
- My response to you accusing me of causing the argument was that, given all your errors, maybe you ought to wind your neck in (i.e. leave it/stop digging).
The rudeness came first from you.
If it's tiresome conversing with me, maybe stop steaming into my posts that were nothing to do with you, trying to catch me out with a gotcha and ending flat on your face. I've already asked you to leave me alone while attacking me as my dad was dying, you didn't listen then and don't appear to be listening now either. [Post edited 18 Mar 14:12]
