Zero. Nowt. Nil. Zilch.
Not a word about how well we did. MOTD has been so disappointing this season.
When we get back and maybe establish ourselves they might start taking notice.
Prejudice against smaller unfashionable clubs is clear.

It doesn't fit the narrative does it

I appreciate we are down essentially but they did the exact same when we were still in it

I see Spurs getting the criticism rather than Wolves the credit either, which doesn't bode well for us establishing ourselves either

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

It's been consistently the case this season.

Also BBCR5l - literally no mention on their extensive preview of today's EPL games that there was even a fixture between Chelsea & us, whilst the other 3 matches all got covered, including several minutes' views from a Liverpool fan.

Then a minute prior to BBCR5l Sports Extra starting their comm, they gave a full run-down of the Chelsea team - but ours wasn't even read out - just got a quick throw-away comment that we'd made 4 changes without saying who apart from Delap surprisingly on the bench.

Absolutely disgraceful - and they call themselves "professionals".
Duh. I think most on here could do a better job.

It's all 'Big Six' coverage isn't it and they wonder why we have armchair fans nowadays

Same on the TV coverage, the commentators were aghast we had the cheek to score two goals against the mighty Chelsea!

I think the fact Dublin said Chelsea were so ‘frustrating’ said it all, almost like they were disappointed they didn’t hammer us. Excuse the pun.

The Plastic League has always been a closed shop. The so called big clubs dont want any outsiders from the championship in it. I maintain the best thing for football for a while is for these clubs to piss off in to their big boys only club and spin around there, playing each other 10 times a year. They can win their big boys trophy every year, charger their armchair plastic fans a fortune to watch their diving, cheating over paid egotistical players, and leave the rest of the REAL football clubs and REAL fans to a good old fashioned Division One, Two, Three, Four structure.

Plastic League really isn't all that good. It's boring, predictable and elitist. They can shove it up their old whizz way, where the sun doesn't shine for all I care.

Us & the other 2 promoted teams are down, so Town battling for a point isn't an exciting story. Chelsea dropping 2 points in the scramble for a CL spot is more interesting to most viewers.
Spurs are still supposedly a "big club" (no more than middling IMO) but again them floundering in 15th place & the pressure on Postecoglou constitutes more of a story than the Wolves revival.
The media need to feed their stories to the followers of the "big" clubs & they will continue to do so.

But motd, NEVER acknowledges us, the opposition. How can you talk about a game and not even mention the opposition. It's ridiculous, biased, and all part of what's so very wrong about this bloody Plastic League

You can accept Dublin is going to be against us and will surely have had influence what analysis followed

I don't agree they are great in 2/3's of the pitch, they gave us several opportunities to score and a better side would have been out of sight

A symptom of Marcesca ball is lack of upping the gears and moving the ball too slowly

Yes they were wasteful but they'd have had far more luck yesterday with a classic number 9, someone like Strand Larsen would improve them, especially against the low block

Other broadcasters seem to manage it and appreciate that it’s important to the tens of thousands of fans of the likely relegated clubs.

Just the Beeb that have no respect for that/us, and as a licence fee payer, that really annoys me, esp given the eye watering salaries their presenters get paid.

Disgraceful. I think I'm going to boycott watching ITFC highlights on MOTD next season.

Danny Murphy in the studio - his go to Ipswich themes are:
1. Delap is the only thing of quality at Ipswich (we scored twice without him on the pitch); and
2. Davis is at fault for every goal we concede (not the case)

Without that narrative, they have nothing to say. They would have had to spend time analysing a team that they will not be watching in six games time.

Lazy but completely expected.

Why are you a REAL fan but others who have supported Manchester City or Liverpool alll of their lives not?

Are you surprised? The BBC is bottom of the barrel for football coverage these days. I haven't watched MOTD since the 1990s. It's nicely ironic that their charter they're not allowed to advertise brands - yet in their football coverage all they do is shore up the brand clubs and the rest are just cannon fodder to be patronised and only discussed in relation to their impact on the so-called 'big teams'.

Get them out of our league and into their own super league please!

Oh give over - the proportion of fans of those clubs who have even a tenuous connection to the area let alone go to matches regularly is fractional these days.

I have no respect for anyone who says they are a Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal fan etc. and clearly only started supporting them because they win/won things at a specific time. The few who truly understand the football journey I feel sad for that they've had their clubs hijacked but they are few and far between with most of the tourists simply having no idea what proper football supporting is... It's like the trend these day for the upper middle classes and even the royals trying to make out they're normal people. Nonsense. When they've travelled to Plymouth away for a meaningless mid-table end of season game that you lose then maybe I'll listen to them...

Exactly this. When the title and relegation have already been decided what is there to say?

The 'Champions' League is the only thing to he decided, and with a quarter of the league qualifying it is quite interesting.
