I made the mistake of reading the comments. Good crikey, we have some arseholes on our socials don’t we?
In a weird coincidence we parked and went through the most densely populated Sikhi part of the UK. I’m not sure if that explained families out and about or not. I doubt any were converted to Town fans by the few dozen of us headed that way.
However, it was brilliant to hear the scum booing the knee rather than just ignoring it, drowned out by the thousands of us chanting. A mate said someone near him was ranting about it being “a Christian country” when a Chelsea player performed an Islamic prayer at full time - bet they sang the Morsy song we belted out during the game though.

Nothing says you’re a proud Christian like being intolerant and racist does it? Baffling people to say the least.
I think I sorta understand where they are coming from. It's not like they're racist or uneducated or dumb. They just want us to get behind the religion that was invented and founded in this country. Not some foreign religion from the Middle East or somewhere. The English invented Christianity, it was based and developed on this island and we need to get behind it an fight against these invasive foreign religions from the other side of the world. Otherwise the little baby Jesus and St George fought that dragon for nothing

Virtue signalling nonsense playing to the inclusivity crowd and the rainbow brigade. You keep on advocating for it though
The "Rainbow Brigade" refers to the 42nd Infantry Division of the U.S. Army, nicknamed the "Rainbow Division" due to its formation from diverse National Guard units across the country, much like a rainbow. The division saw action in both World War I and World War II, including the liberation of Dachau concentration camp.
Some patriot you are, they were our allies in our finest hour!

As a Christian I find it incredibly frustrating to see and hear others who claim to have the same faith have absolutely no idea what it means in practice. I can only apologise for others stupidity!

Not sure you need to apologise for everyone claiming to be part of a religion, but getting it massively wrong in the name of hate and division old boy. I know some people might find it a novel idea but you shouldn’t

What is? Pretending to be a Christian?
Or are you having a go at me? I’m not sure what’s offensive about thinking racism and bigots have no place at our club?
Are we going to ignore the Sikhi soldiers in November 11th too now?
"Finally, we that live on can never forget those comrades who in giving their lives gave so much that is good to the story of the Sikh Regiment. No living glory can transcend that of their supreme sacrifice, may they rest in peace. In the last two world wars 83,005 turban wearing Sikh soldiers were killed and 109,045 were wounded. They all died or were wounded for the freedom of Britain and the world and during shell fire, with no other protection but the turban, the symbol of their faith."

More vindication for coming off Fb and Twitter/X, so sick of reading this rubbish. Socials, trains and now pubs full of absolute ar5eholes like this on football days.
