Anyone else go behind enemy lines today? 18:02 - Apr 18 with 1927 viewsbluelagos

Col U - won't lie, thought they were pants, against 10 men for the second half they barely made a chance - got lucky being gifted a pen and managed to miss that too.

Bishop and Simpson both came on and looked bang average at best.

Suppose we've been spoiled at Portman Rd the last few years but had forgot how awful lower league footie is.

Fair dos to the crowd - they made some noise, even the side stands half joined in a couple of times.

Also like that Danny Cowley seems to be coach as well as manager - proper hands on management doing the pre match drills.

Simpson on loan from Stevenage, what a funny career he has had

He did have a half decent loan at Swindon and thought he had made it, bless him!

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Is ColU enemy lines? Didn't think we cared about them - kind of an irrelevant club

Bishop looked at least one league above the level. He was the only player in either midfield who actually took his man on and went round him.

Scully was pants - not sure why Bishop didn't start yesterday.

Can see he's been out (presumably injured not dropped)

You would have enjoyed your day more if you had really gone behind enemy lines and supported Portsmouth at Carrow Road.

Cowley almost never brings a playet straight back in after an injury, - always prefers to give them the last 30 minutes. Bishop has been out for a while and three big games left. Sadly for Bishop, two of them are on terrible pitches. Colchester's and Salford's.

They’ll be plenty of their little toe rags hanging on the coat tails of West Ham on the last day. They tried it with Stoke in the Championship, getting gobby in the station, people laughing at them!
