Queen: Live Magic tour, my mum said I was too young to go(10) and promised she'd take me to their next tour! Which of course sadly never happened. The Doors: not sure where maybe an early gig at the Whisky I've seen everyone else I would like to have seen, although a Who gig with Moon would've been special compared to Zak

Eighteen months ago I met someone who was there (on the back of me passing through Spalding on the way to FolkEast and seeing a blue plaque saying that Hendrix stayed in a hotel there) and she said that the floor of the venue was like a pigsty.
Anyway, to Keno's question. I think The Beatles at The Cavern must have been very exciting. And to keep the excitement up I would go to the cloakroom at the end and say 'I left a leather jacket but I've lost my ticket. I'll know it when I see it.' Cilla would say 'Step inside, luv...'

Lucky enough to have seen Prince twice, although both times a little later than that (but still 80's ) at Wembley Arena; first gig was fantastic, second one was a little flat for some reason.
If I had a time machine, this would be my concert - lucky to have a great film of it!
On my 30th birthday, my then girlfriend gave me 2 Prince tickets for Wembley Stadium. We had a bust up that night, never saw her or spoke to her again but I kept the tickets. The concert was cancelled - I heard it was because Prince threw a hissy fit at the poor ticket sales. As the tickets had been bought by someone else, I had quite a job recovering the refund but I'm sure you will all be pleased to hear that I managed it!
My mum and dad went to Isle of Wight 1970 - saw Jethro Tull, The Doors and The Who.
They'd also been to - Cream at The Marquee 1968, Fleetwood Mac 1977, King Crimson at Hyde Park 1969, Stranglers at The Hope and Anchor 1977, The Rolling Stones 1967 and The Faces 1973.

I'd have liked to have seen any of them....
by all accounts, the sound quality at festivals in those days was absolutely dire, but I suppose then live performances generally were more erratic & it was more about the vibe of being there.
