For all the talk of Leicester being terrible 16:43 - Apr 20 with 1574 viewstonybied

Each time I've watched them they seem to offer some threat going forwards. They just seem slightly worse at the back than us. I've not watched too much of them to be honest, so it could just be the games I've seen and they've been awful in most of the others.

I think they'll still be a big gun next season regardless of any impending punishment from the EFL.

They probably have a bit more PL know how and under Cooper may have been fine

Their defence seems to have got far worse since Van Nistelrooy came in

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

You say that, but didn't they go 8 home games without scoring?

They are giving Liverpool a game which we failed to do against Arsenal today

The hubris to sack Cooper and appoint RvN is why they are going down without a peep.

Even so, I don't see them outside of the top 6 next year. Same as town if we find a central midfielder.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Would be quite funny if they go and win this.

Arsenal are so solid defensively, I kind of expected it

Liverpool will offer you a bit more but are more likely to score more goals as well

Stats say Liverpool have had 10 shots to Leicester's one. Is that misleading?

Take your talk of goal threat to a Leicester message board and see how they react!

They *should* be due a 10-point penalty (I won't hold my breath waiting for that) and they will lose 3 or 4 of their better players.

All depends what state their finances are in, and who they get to manager the team (I hope they stick with rVn)

Yeah, they did. To be fair they were unlucky in that run too. I remember watching them against someone (can't remember who though) in that run and they were the better team and created plenty, they hit the post and Vardy was put through on goal 2-3 times in the 1st half. Much like us though they seem to then go on to concede plenty of poor goals and then completely fold.

I believe the commentators said it’s 118 days since they last scored at home

They lost at home to Arsenal with 11 men ? , and we gave Liverpool a go up until the 75 min , their is no or very little difference between us apart from their previous experience of the Prem

That’s a lot of bad luck.

They were clearly poor in that run too but they do seem to create more than us, just they have been less clinical. With the caveat that it's only what I have seen and as mentioned in my OP that's limited, admittedly.

Sorry to keep digging on this one!

Leicester have had 3 shots all game, zero on target. We managed 4 against Arsenal and it's widely accepted that we were dreadful today.

That was a ridiculous decision. But the fans didn’t like him because of the Forest link and he wasn’t pushing them up towards the top of the table, do they’ve got to suck up that karma lol

I've only watched about 20 minutes of today's game as I'm now watching the grand Prix so I'm not really commenting on what's occurring today, just in general.

The amount of shots isn't the only measure of threat though, is it? They seem to get in better positions than us with more support from the rest of the team, more often. They just don't seem very successful at converting that into goals.

My main point of the OP was that there's been a lot of talk about us clearly being the best of the 3 promoted teams but I don't think there is a lot in it. I also think that Leicester may be more of a threat next year than some are expecting.

They are the worst team I've seen us play this season by far, and will undoubtedly be weakened by relegation and hopefully the EFL bearing a grudge. They're also relying on an ageing Vardy with I'm assuming not loads to spend on a replacement. Saying that we know the Championship is a whole different universe and I think they'll probably make the playoffs.

I suspect they may lose a lot of bodies over the summer, and of course they don't really have a manager. If think McKenna would have got more out of that squad.
