Line up tomorrow 10:38 - Apr 25 with 1856 views | IPSWICHFANITFC | I can't see a thread on this already, but it's quite a selection headache given the LB situation. I don't think we'll throw the young lad in from the off, but we'll pinned back in if Greaves plays there. Not really sure what we do here to keep the balance of having a left footer. The logical option for me is Godfrey, but I don't know if he will appear for us again despite being on the bench last week. EDIT: Before someone points it out, I know Godfrey is right footed. While aware that it would be a massive step up, having seen his highlights reel, I'd like to see Boniface in there. Greaves is easily turned when out wide, and there's little to be lost at this point.

Line up tomorrow on 12:56 - Apr 25 with 1416 views | Garv | I seem to remember a few years ago Rafa Benitez played a rather special 10-0-0 formation at SJP against Man City (I think). I half wonder if we do the same and make it the worst game of football ever seen. If Greaves can get enough protection from Burgess I wonder if his physicality might actually be a plus at LB, albeit Murphy isn't weak by any stretch. I don't see another option there really, bar Tuanzebe at a stretch but that's purely because he's a good defender - he would look very unnatural on that side. Too much too soon for Boniface. He would be up against Jacob Murphy, Harvey Barnes or even Anthony Gordon. He might get some minutes if we're out of sight, but I think pre season is where they will look to introduce him for the odd minutes.

I expect to see Greaves there if I'm honest as I think we're scratching around either way. Had Philogene been fit, then perhaps Johnson would've played LB and Philogene would've gone on to the right hand side of midfield. Johnson could still play LB tomorrow, but not sure how we'd look on the right, unless Hutchinson is back. Either way, Livramento is in form as is Barnes, so I'm guessing we'll want Johnson & Tuanzebe there to nullify the threat.

Why would you do things that way around Zombies? It plain melts my brain. The only way I see that working is viewed from beneath a transparent pitch, but then the letters probably ought to be mirrored and that would be hard to read. (I'm wondering if it was only my funny bone I banged earlier?)

If I knew how to 'text align' on here I would have set the names of the outfield players upside down...apart from Delap, because a lone striker can be seen an asymmetric (unless it is a striker on a picket line, when he will inevitably be seen as left wing whether he is or not.)

Why do people think things like this? The worst thing for his development would be getting torn apart for 45-50 mins before getting hooked, which is totally possible. Better to give him 10 mins at the end when the match is spent.
