Forest are starting to look more like the side we hoped they would be in August.

Our timings have been awful this year.

I was looking forward to getting a bye to round two of the Carabao Cup ffs

Plus the extra few million for finishing 18th.

Was going to say something similar. The only ones we've caught at the right time were wolves and Bournemouth away.

All tricky trees - not just to keep Leicester below us but keep them above Chelsea who are just awful

West Ham were on a horrible run when we played them away....

Weren't Everton on a bad run when we played them at home....

I would perhaps say our abject play is as much responsible as catching basically every team at the wrong time.

United were in terrible form when we played them away, they gave us 2 goals and played half the game with 10 men and we still couldnt take anything.
Southampton were in dreadful form in Feb and we let them beat us.

However we want to sugarcoat it, bottomline we’ve been well out of depth which is highlighted on our inability to capitalise on situations and circumstances. Wouldn’t surprise me if Leicester City beat us next week and ultimately finish 3rd from bottom. Leicester have been woeful, so finishing below them would be a tough pill to swallow.

Agree with that. Its been generally agreed that Southampton and Leicester have been on appalling runs of form, real basket cases, for months on end. But it was only in about early March that I realised just how bad our form had been; all those understandable losses to big clubs, plus narrow losses in close games, had masked how bad we had been.
People who had only been to home games saying they hadnt seen anything since Chelsea and realising that we had literally only taken points in a single game since United at home.

We will get beaten at Leicester. I have no doubt about that. We are no better than them or Southampton. We are too lightweight. We bought too many kids who aren’t strong enough mentally or physically to deal with the Premier League League. In a years time if we go back up they still won’t be physical or athletic enough either. We really need a reset on the type of player we need for the premier league, because it ain’t those little, small, diminutive guys. They just get knocked around way too easily.

That match will give us a good handle if there is still a bit of 'dog' in the current squad. We only need a draw to stay ahead of them and have played much better away than at home. Nice to have something to play for at the end of a disappointing season. The deal is that we give Vardy the goals he needs if they lose the match

They have had three seasons of the PL now though so probably not a great comparison?

In fairness I thought Leicester would get something today. Imagine if we had a chance to spoil Norwich's potential achievement this close to the end...

Oh yes - that's exactly what we did in 1993!!... ;o)

Dear oh dear. So obvious that nerves got into the Forest players...they were dead on their feet at the end.
