It looks like a noble move on the surface, but you do wonder how feasible that will be in the longer term.
Guardian reports it will be reduced in capacity, initially by just not using certain stands/seats, but the upkeep must be significant?
You'd imagine the women would rather an appropriately sized and modern ground, not rattling around a decaying old stadium?

I mean, the principle is good, and it's a nice touch.
But this will not last very long, I don't think. At first I'm sure they will have a few decent crowds for the nostalgia factor, but there is absolutely no way this is going to be a commercial success long term. |  | | |

You'd assume they could cut off the top tiers essentially, the public don't need to access them
I have no idea of the layout, does conference or business potential, I assume it's in a fairly tough bit of Liverpool? |  |

I'm assuming something has happened regarding demolishing it.
