Cunha to Old Trafford 16:26 - May 19 with 1035 views | Pinewoodblue | Copied from Sky Sports News Wolves forward Matheus Cunha is set to join Manchester United after the season ends this weekend. United are expected to trigger the £62.5m release clause in his contract. The club are aware by which the conditions for that clause will be met. There has been no direct contact yet between United and Wolves but those formalities are anticipated once the season has closed. Despite interest from other clubs, Cunha wants to play for United and Sky Sports News has been told the deal is almost agreed. Guess they won’t want Delap as well.

They'll just look to buy who they can being greedy, in preparation for ruining their careers. I hope he stays as I genuinely think it will be best for him as a big club will spit him out but I think he is blinkered at money
Cunha to Old Trafford on 16:44 - May 19 with 886 views | ArnoldMoorhen | I read a very good analysis (in either The Athletic or The Guardian, I think) or both Cunha and Delap. The conclusion was that Cunha is probably best as a second striker or 10 playing off a physical striker, and that if anyone could get him and Delap together they would have just about the best pressing attack possible. I wish we had tried (even if only for 30 minutes when behind) Delap wide right with Hurst up top. Maybe even Al Hamadi wide left and Hutchinson at 10. Press, press, press! Could have created some real carnage!

If there wasn’t a Euros next summer Delap might stay. But he needs to be in Prem to stand a chance of being picked. I believe that’s the main driver, not the money.

Man U are still a massive club but a total mess, in a funny way, Delap might play there more regularly than other options

I'd argue the opposite. Cunha/Delap would have similar problems to Enciso/Delap because they're both off the cuff players and the structure of the attack falls apart when they're in the same side.

Did you really just post that playing Al Hamadi wide left could have helped to cause carnage in the Premier League?
