Painful for York City 21:12 - May 20 with 1704 views | Miaow | They finished 23 points ahead of Oldham yet are 0–3 down at home to them in their National League play-off semi-final. Joe Garner got the opener for Oldham. The winner will play either Forest Green or Southend at Wembley. How long before three up, three down between the Football League & the National League actually happens? I know the NL have been pushing it. York finished 2nd with 96 points.

Obviously it's all part of the game now, we just accept it. I obviously fully understand the criticism and heartache but that's the game these days isn't it.

Seems they were playing Boreham Wood in the National League South play-off final. When I looked it up I noticed that Boreham were 5th and Maidstone were 7th. They knocked out the 2nd and 3rd placed teams in the semi-final!
Painful for York City on 22:25 - May 20 with 1326 views | Sharkey | Sad for York. Hoping now that Southend go up, ... and they finished 28 points behind York. For comparison, in league 2, the team that finished 28 points behind the team in 2nd was MK Dons, who finished 19th!

Well, Boreham Wood won their play off final in front of 3500 fans & are now in the National League. Their ground is only a few miles away from me but the only time I've been to see a game was to watch Town reserves as Watford Reserves play some of their home games there. It was some years ago and all I remember is that Lee Martin was useless.

He didn't need to be on the pitch for that!! As a sub he was interfering with the corner taker.

I agree with what you say, but also I think (personally), its a better system. The "better" team plays a one-off game at home.
