Never seen him play but I’ll take him. Ex Barcelona & Chelsea and only 19. Looks a bit of a unit too. Championship is probably a great step for him if it means regular minutes.
Only thing that puts me off is his full name is Guiu Paz, and the words ‘Paz’ and ‘successful Ipswich town strikers’ don’t tend to be found in the same sentence.

I know nothing about him either. It’s a nice trick by Chelsea if they can pull off a £5m profit in 12 months with a few league subs appearance. But has been banging them in in that Micky Mouse European competition they won. I’ve paid no attention to him, and so don’t have a view on his quality, suitability or future release clause value.

Giovani Dos Santos route. Barcelona to Ipswich within a year, that’s what Suffolk does for you.
They liked him a lot at Barca. However they messed up leaving him with a £5m buyout clause. ( I think Ashton had something to do with that ) He went through La Masia so trapping and passing the ball shouldn't be a problem.
He also had a great interest in playing in the Prem. That's where Chelsea stepped in.

Why are we even bothering with him, getting stated clearly he wasn't interested in joining a championship club?
Are you for real? Why are we bothering with one of the best strikers to come out of La Masia in the last 5 years?
I just can't see it happening as there must be other clubs who would snap Chelsea's hand off for 10milion. Seems highly unlikely but would be a massive massive signing.

Sorry Arnie…
Where has he ‘clearly stated’ anything? I imagine if there’s some truth to this we’ve been given some encouragement and any way do you just want the club to target players who’d walk over broken glass and play for nothing because you know what we’ll have an absolute dog sh it team at that point.
No idea if those tweets are from reputable sources...but if true this looks nice from a few angles: McKenna brought out the best of Liam Delap who had not really played centre forward previously Gives him time to bed in with team mates early in the transfer window and full pre-season Good competition with George Hirst to be starting CF He can bed in whilst we are in the Championship and build confidence / learn our patterns of play before being thrust into the Prem Gives confidence to our other players who might be unsettled and potential recruits that we really mean business
