Now, we have some writing off Greaves and suggesting we'd have been betting sticking with Woolfy etc.

Alongside Morsy, I think Burgess has been the most 'improved' player since McKenna took charge.
Do not begrudge him one bit taking a deal out in Spain. Go up against the likes of Mbappe, Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal for 3 years, or slog it in here the Championship. No brainer. |  |

Hahahaha, no better than chambo is not a high standard. Can remember watching Ipswich and thinking how awful chambers was and that he was our worst player. I think the standard around him then dropped making him look good |  | | |

Even as recently as Oxford in the fog, less than 2.5 years ago, Burgess looked a long, long way off being a top end League 1 player let alone a good Championship one.
It's been a good journey for him personally, and us as a club, whatever happens next. |  |

Mainly got his break due to Edmundson getting injured didn't he? He grabbed that chance brilliantly mind you. I thought he looked pretty hopeless to begin with and wasn't sure he'd make the step up to the Championship despite a great season in League 1. He's just got better and better. |  |
