We'll be heading towards the PL as the season progresses and Morsy isn't going to be good enough for the PL. The new CMs will become the starting CMs with Morsy on the bench. Given his age he will want to be starting games, a move abroad will happen in the Jan window |  | | |

To be fair, I don't think anyone is suggesting that a player who will be 35 *when* we get back to the prem, will be leading our midfield. And as such it's not a leap to suggest we'll phase him out either now or during the next season. | | | |

Agree, Big Sam offers so much off the pitch as well as on it. I can see him being part of the coaching set up should he fancy it with us. Young family too which may come into his considerations as to where and if he moves. | | | |

Only rumours, so we’ll have to wait and see. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he does move on this window though. He’s not getting any younger get and the club will need to make a call at some point. Yes, he’s been instrumental on and off the pitch. The linked CMs are upgrades though and Dara is the future leader. There’s a reason tying Dara down to a longer contract was one of the first bits of business we did this summer. |  |
