Freebies is one thing, but over-charging for the project to (presumably) enrich the company directors would be fraud, no? Although I suppose the two are connected if his ‘payment’ for signing off on the inflated contract was in the form of the flights/tickets. I’d have wanted at least a few £million though if they were creaming off £30m, not just some poxy tickets.
