Many years ago a friend of mine was organising a benefit concert and someone gave her Ozzy's phone number
She called him and apparently he was charm personified, friendly and helpful. He suggested a few more friends that he could ask to perform too and also mentioned other possible income streams
Sad to report that the gig didn't go ahead, but I always remember the reports of his kindness

That’s what killed him unfortunately and I assume he knew that.
Had to come off his meds to perform (Parkinsons meds affect the throat) and guess he never recovered. |  |

Aww bloody hell, that's awful. But he sounded quite good at that Brum gig ( what i saw of it)... often older returning rock stars lose that power in their vocals don't they, and considering he had Parkinsons too. Blooming good effort id say. | |

I had that able it was a double and black covered .had them all in vinyl.Ive still got them somewhere but to sheer laziness I also have them on cd or listen to them on YouTube. | |
