Starmer’s body language is awful 21:17 - Jul 28 with 5154 viewsonceablue

Standing next to Trump today it was so embarrassing.

Folding his arms while standing up is an absolute no no. Then unfolding them again, then by his side then his hands together😂😂😂😂

To think he is the leader of a major player on the World stage is a joke.

No other leader will ever take him seriously

He looks lost and totally out of his depth

Please Keir get some help

Mate, we're in a climate crisis and all you can wang on about is how we need to not bother trying to get to net zero. It's boring, it's anti-science, it's pro the proto-fascists like Trump.

What has got better over the last year? We don't have the same levels of corruption in government for a start, we're considered a serious country again on the international stage, trade and relations with Europe have improved, there's some signs of investment in early years and social care, NHS waiting lists have started to come down.

Even net migration is down under Labour, something the Tories promised for years and never delivered. And you blame that on Blair? They had 14 years, FFS. 14 years! That's more than enough time to actually get stuff done and all the achieved was to run the country into the ground.

I don't particularly care for Labour under Starmer and there's loads they've not got right, but compared to the alternative they are demonstrably an awful lot less sh!te.

I think you are reading your facts out of the Beano. No one is saying the planet is not in danger it's just that we, Little O'le Britain are trying to do something no other Country ten times are size and population is doing.
I agree the Tories were guilty of many things and it really depends on what you class as corruption. E.g. maybe the giving of contracts to chums during the pandemic.
Who says we are a serious country on the International stage ?
Starmer flying around or inviting leaders of other countries to Downing Street means zilch to most people and many of his so called deals favour the other country more than us. 10 billion here and there will make little difference to our interest on loans totalling £105 billion a year and labour can't even cut things when they want to due to the backbenchers.
Immigration has gone through the roof. Admittedly the Tories should have done more, but as I say due to going back to the Blair years where legislation was brought in which made our ability to not only stop or deport illegals we are also obliged to do much more than what they receive in France.
I know a bit about laws regarding what people are allowed to receive whilst working for the government as I was a Civil Servant (only in a very junior, low paid job). You are not even allowed to accept club card points from Tesco if you use Government money.
Seems strange that these Ministers are getting to see Premier League matches and go to concerts on a freebie. Rayner went with her fella to New York and was put up by a friend of the Government ?
Where I live it takes 45 minutes or more to get through to our local Country Practice and then they need to know the ins and outs of a brass monkey before telling you they will phone later. Although they have the facilities to do blood tests they will tell you to book somewhere miles away.
Over the last few years I have spent around£2,400 on dental treatment as there are few NHS dentist available.

MPs aren't civil servants and they are allowed to receive gifts so long as they declare them. I'm not a fan of that personally, but if you're comparing someone receiving gig tickets to the Tories having a VIP lane to award their mates multi-million pound contracts during COVID, or comparing it to Johnson's dodgy links with Lebedev, for example, then you're completely out of touch with reality at this point.

The lack of dentists, immigration through the roof, not being able to get a GP appointment - all of this happened during 14 years of Tory government. Labour have made some in roads on these issues in one year, yet you seem to entirely blame them for these problems? Breaking stuff is easy, and the Tories mastered it over their 14 years in charge, fixing things is a lot more complex and takes time. I'm no fan of Labour but at least they are trying to address some of the issues the Tories lumbered them with.

You should speak to your MP about it next time he holds a surgery.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

My latest pickup (Nissan) I’ve had 17 years.

I might trade that in for a Honda 50.
