That's it, he's off then for sure. Sad it had to end like this, but seems that his time here is finished and he's basically trying to push the club into accepting an offer.
Be interesting to see how the club handles this, clearly Brentford have not made an offer the club finds acceptable and Hutchinson is trying to force their hand into accepting a lower bid. [Post edited 2 Aug 19:46]

The end of the day he's paid very well to do his job. He accepted that contacted and he knows in football you can't just say you want to go if a club doesn't pay what your club wants them to pay. He's been well paid by us. |  |

It's really not a surprise though is it. He's had a very god two seasons with us, in fact his season last year was better than many give him credit for.
He looked a cut above just about everyone at the Euro's - so it's not really a surprise that he's leaving.
I'll be very surprised if the Club haven't anticipated this. | |

I don't think it's necessary to believe exactly what McKenna says in all his press conferences. Sounds more to me like he's about to be sold and there's no point playing or risking him. Assuming negotiations are still taking place nobody ay the club would come right out and say it.

I’ve got nothing against Omari, he’s had a good couple of years and the figures being spoken about are a good return for us.
But right now, our squad is no better than last seasons and we kick off in 6 days with 2 new signings, one of which who looks like they’ll start the season as a back up centre back. | |

Clearly what is happening is Brentford have bid a certain amount, we've asked for more and the Agent has probably advised Omari that Brentford are not willing to meet the asking price and to apply some pressure on the club to force us to accept a lower bid. | |

Won’t be surprised but there’s ways of going about it isn’t there.
I don’t think he should leave what he has here for Brentford though, to be honest.
We’ve given him his ‘big break’ and he didn’t exactly set the world alight last season (unlike Delap) so just feel he should stay here, have a brilliant season in the Championship and can go again with us in the Premier League or go next summer and have his pick of the clubs. | |
