Two quality players (hopefully) joining the ranks by the looks of things. We should be really pleased with that. Akpom gives Hirst some stiff competition and Cajuste is a lovely footballer who will stand out in the Championship.
Can’t wait to get the season underway.
Uppa Town.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

I think most were of the opinion there was little chance we could have Cajuste in the Champ. The fact we will alongside Azor is really promising.

Thats the spirit! Apparently we're doomed as nobody signed the minute the window opened. They're keeping their powder dry behind the scenes. If you get offered a job, away from your home, surely you'd take some time to consider all the options too? Bring it on!

Again, think we need to give a little credit to the Club here. Whilst most fans are pragmatic, there were a few getting twitchy about the lack of activity.

We've played the long game with Jens and it appears to have worked.

I think CA is also a sensible piece of business, it might feel 'late in the day/ knee jerk' but I don't believe for a second it is. Like Hackney, Chuba was hoping for a Prem move coming back home, that wasn't happening and we've timed things well here again - I think this is a shrewd signing for a number of reasons (which I have posted below about).

I don't think our business is even close to being done either.

Most relegated sides don't have their first team sorted until after the season kicks off. It was always likely to be late on that we secured our targets.

Even without knowing this, it would still surprise me that people worry about this sort of thing. The squad is good and we have consistently improved our squad window after window.

And it's all before the first game.

Almost as if they know what they're doing...

Need HH and another striker.

And replacements for Omari and Broadhead one or the other or both go.

I think we’ve got enough to start the season though.
Assuming we get those two across the line (which I’m still not taking for granted)
