Matusiwa & Cajuste played together at Reims a couple of years ago. 07:20 - Aug 5 with 2694 viewsITFC_Forever

Didn’t know that, but that’s a handy bit of history to show they have played in the same team before, and should help them settle in.

Reims can come true.

According to Wikipedia, despite a 19-match unbeaten run between October and March, they achieved only two wins in their last 11 games, ultimately finished 11th.
I don't know about the games they played together. With Cipre as well, we're becoming a Reims old boys club. Perhaps we only bought the letter R of the European dashboard.

Do you think it can give us the Bruts we need for the English Championship?

They did indeed.

Part of that fantastic Will Still team which was great fun to watch. Reunited with their old boss in a couple of weeks.

Fully expect to see Folarin Balogun sign before the end of the window now!

A beautiful city, and I believe where the old Kings and Queens of France had their coronations.

Yes. It took a pasting in WW1 so lots of Art Deco from the mid-1920s.

If so, we would have to go with the Dutch pronunciation of Moet (i.e. Mo-ett), given that Matusiwa is Dutch. I appreciate that it's a little pretentious to use that pronunciation generally, but in the circumstances I think it's justified.

However, if we're going to sing Killer Queen by Queen in order to praise our midfield pairing, then I accept the French pronunciation (i.e. Mo-ayy).

Now all we need is a "pretty cabinet".

I don't know how it's pronounced, but is it just me that thinks it looks a bit like Japanese?

I take it you only read head lines and not the full article Phil writes. It was fully discussed that by signing Matusiwa it might help convince Jens to sign. I’m still feeling this might be a part of why Jens is signing now.
