Strikes me as the type who would need to play fairly regularly for his performance levels to be decent. Not sure he has the frame to play one every 4 or 5 weeks. Plus he’s had a serious leg break. I would be very wary of that deal. |  | | |

Hirst is an injury worry, so we need someone who we can rely on if needed. After his car smash, I would probably say no. I have always liked him as a player, but a risk we can't really afford to take. | |

Generally leg breaks in general heal better than most other injuries. For me his age would be the issue and if he could maintain the energy levels required in a one up front formation. |  | | |

I honestly think Millwall are quite ambitious this season and I don't think they will entertain £15 mil and that's why not much action. Fair play to them if so.
He does look a good fit on the small amount I've seen of him but think a lot of interest. Might be a late mover in the window. | |

At a high level of course he’s on the radar. Whether that translates into a player of interest based on performance, attributes, footballing ceiling, and any other non football criteria is another thing. What is he like as a person? What’s his ambition in football here or abroad short or long term? I know none of this and whether he is a viable target beyond on the radar or player of interest.
If we are interested, it wouldn’t surprise that we let other smoke out the opportunity and depending on whether that’s top league or not then comes the chance later in the window. | |
