It is quite amusing seeing the Labour lovers realise they aren’t what they thought they were. Bless them.

We had 14 years of suffering under the Tories. Bankster isn't a Labour supporter. A lot of the people on here you assume are Labour supporters aren't Labour supporters. Labour have alienated the left by basically being the Tories but with a bit more competence. Ironically, Labour are more interested in appealing to people like you and Benters than they are in appealing to the likes of Bankster but clearly that's a misguided strategy given your views on them remain unchanged.

It's just a shame that Donald "I want the Nobel Peace Prize" Trump seems incapable of doing the same thing. Surely the easiest of all conflicts to end as Israel are so dependent on the US.

Whilst I agree with what you say in general I'm starting to wonder if this lot are any more competent or compassionate than the last lot. And this is where Reform are taking advantage.

I'm not sure they're more compassionate but they do have a basic level of competence. The Tories weren't able to get anything done in their last 7 or 8 years in office other than a damaging Brexit. That was the sum total of it. Labour are getting some stuff done, not necessarily the right stuff, but they are actually doing things.

I don't know your age, but if you think Labour are competent I'd hate to see incompetence. Turning a supposed £22 billion black hole into a £50 billion pound black hole doesn't seem like competence to me. Every part of the UK is run down and whilst I agree that not all of it is Labour's fault it doesn't help to be in a big hole and keep digging. Most people would agree to paying higher taxes if it wasn't to pay for many people who don't work that can and thousands of immigrants being put up in £400 a night hotels because they come from that war torn Country that is France. We have hospitals that are falling apart, schools that need money spending on them. It took my wife an hour and a quarter to get through to our local surgery and it's like that all the time. This Country is going to hell in a handcart and unless drastic steps are taken the country will be bankrupt we are now a smiggen under 100% of GDP on spending and our financial position is worse than the basket case that is Italy. Not my words, but the warnings by the OBR and IMF.
